Dancer is a bunch of familiar characters making elastic, narrative, post-punk in the great city of Glasgow. A potent, twitchy cocktail of sounds developed through the esteemed finishing schools of Current Affairs (Tough Love), Nightshift (Trouble in Mind), Order of the Toad (Gringo) The Wharves (also Gringo) and Robert Sotelo (Upset the Rhythm). Sardonic, dryly conversational, jerk-pop, that follows in the footsteps of The Homosexuals, Life Without Buildings, and Trumans Water.
